Morgan Freeman
DOB: June 1, 1937
Yeah, he’s an amazing actor, that can’t be argued with amazing roles in movies like Se7en, Driving Miss Daisy, Million Dollar Baby and many more. The role that still stands out for me is the first one I saw him in, as Easy Reader on groundbreaking 70’s kid’s show The Electric Company.
Keep on reading kids!

Clint Eastwood
DOB: May 31, 1930
One of the greatest tough guy actors of his generation, of any generation really - he’s also a great musician, director and producer - sometimes doing all in the same project. He turns 82 today and can still kick your ass, so give him some respect!

Cee Lo Green
DOB: May 30, 1974
What a wild and crazy ride his life has been! He’s been a success several times over. He was successful as a member of hip-hop act Goodie Mob, sang several hits as part of Gnarls Barkley along with DJ Danger Mouse, had an amazing solo career with hits such as F**k you! and Forget You and then became a TV star as voice coach on The Voice. Not sure what he’ll do next, but he’ll probably be pretty good at it!

Daniel Tosh
DOB: May 29, 1975
He’s the bastard genius behind Tosh.0, a show that inspires me with it’s irreverence and utter insanity. As the song says, he’s the son of a preacher man - really! He received a degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida, but decided not to pursue a career in it when he came to the realization that even he wouldn’t hire himself, so he went for a career in comedy. Thankfully, he was funny, so that worked out pretty well for him.

Justin Kirk
DOB: May 28, 1969
As amazing as he is in comedies like Weeds, Scrubs and Modern Family - you have to see his dramatic roles to really be amazed by him. His role in the play and film version of Love! Valour! Compassion! not only got him rave reviews, but a couple of Awards as well. His role as Prior Walter in Angels in America, proved that even amongst the company of superior actors like Meryll Streep and Al Pacino, that he’s a talent to be recognized. This fall he’s coming out in Animal Practice.. a comedy, which I’ll watch and love.. even though I much rather see him put his dramatic chops on display, I’ll take what I can get!

Christopher Lee
DOB: May 27, 1922
Christopher Lee is the God of modern movie horror. Forget that sissy Twilight crap. Christopher Lee’s Hammer Horror movie stuff from the late 50’s to the 70’s still stands up today. He did everything from Dracula to Frankenstein to the Mummy - reinventing these horror icons and making them even scarier. If you haven’t seen the Hammer Horror films, you’re in for a treat. They’ll get the bad taste in your mouth that Twilight left!

Pam Grier
DOB: May 26, 1949
According to director Quentin Tarantino, she may have been cinema’s first female action star, as well as been one of the groundbreakers of bringing African Americans into film and TV into major roles, not just supporting characters or “window dressing”. She was a FORCE in the blaxploitation films of the 70’s, playing such female icons as Coffy, Friday Foster and the ever delicious Foxy Brown. Later on, she had a comeback of sorts with Quentin Tarantino in Jackie Brown.

Ian McKellen
DOB: May 25, 1939
Since he was a young boy, McKellen wanted to be in theater. He dedicated his life to “the theater”, particularly in the works of Shakespeare, and received accolades and praise. Eventually he received a Knighthood for his works, so that’s SIR Ian to you. The last few years, he’s graced our presence with parts in movies such as Apt Pupil, The Lord of the Rings movies and X-Men.

John C. Reilly
DOB: May 24, 1965
He’s more a character actor than your typical leading man, more a Michael Caine or Gene Hackman than Tom Cruise, but he’s perfectly happy with that, as long as he doesn’t get bored doing it. He’s the “everyman”, the everyday schlubb, but he’s amazing being that person for us.

Drew Carey
DOB: May 23, 1958
We loved Drew on The Drew Carey Show, we loved him in Who’s Line Is It Anyways and we even love him in The Price Is Right replacing dog spading activist Bob Barker. You might not recognize him so easily these days, he’s lost over 92 pounds through working out and dieting, and doesn’t need those crazy glasses due to lasik eye surgery. Even looking so different, he’s still the same old Drew that we love.
