The first thing that comes to mind when you think about Amanda Peet is most likely “Wow, she’s incredibly beautiful!”. It’s most likely your second and third thoughts as well. That being said, she’s proved herself a pretty solid actress. When I got tricked into seeing chick flick A Lot Like Love (which starred both her and Ashton Kutchner) she was the only thing that made that film bearable, she actually has some comedic skill. Same thing with Saving Silverman, a film that was painful to watch except for the time she was on the screen as the crazed psychologist, Jason Biggs be damned. And she was the only character that made any sense on the “should have been awesome” TV show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Did we mention that she’s INCREDIBLY beautiful as well? Amanda turns 40 today!
